We had our third child recently, Maegan and I feel like the burden is getting more and more. I m very tired and had no time to even put my legs up and rest. Everything is in a rush everyday and I felt like there's no purpose in life anymore. Day in and day out, work work work just to get salary for the family which is not even enough.... I also felt that our relationship have faded .....getting further n further away. No time for us to open up our hearts to talk on anything at all and even if there's little time.....he's too tired to talk about anything even if I wan to. He have other people in his heart who is more important now....... I m not the important person in his life anymore n wife for name sake only. There are times when I m upset n need to talk but I dun have anyone to do that. It's such a pity to live life this way with depression .....n this is going to be for my whole life as long as I'm still alive in this world ! No purpose in life anymore..............

Breast Feeding is still a social challange.

As part of Magnus 1st Bday, I am bringing up some of the past issues on breast feeding in Malaysia.

Overall, government and work place is not supportive of working mother.
Local Malaysian medical experts are not supportive and make this known via the media. See NST 10 May 2008.
Friends and family are not able to accept and wonder why go on doing such things.

However, Magnus mum have a boss that managed to close an eye to allow her time to express milk in the office TOILET! aint that kind? The first child really prepared us for this mission with Magnus.

As the husband, its been a really long and challenging road that we had to take. Really, I can only give her the support as most of it is faced by her, on her own.

Magnus 1st Birthday

Celebrated Magnus B'day a few days late at home as it was the same day as the Muslim Hari Raya holidays. Family and friends managed to come and share this special day with Magnus. His cake is a 2Kg Fresh chocolate cream cake.

Magnus is exclusively breast fed for 6 months (no water!) though the 4 to 6th months the mother had to go back to work. He is already 1 year old and still takes only breast milk and have not taken any powdered milk. His bonding with the mum, health and overall nature is good. Yes, he does get cough and flu! The Pediatrician is very supportive in what we seek for Magnus. Anyone wondering about breast feeding, should read the guide from WHO on taking care of the baby.

Martha, was breast fed till she was 18 months and we hope Magnus will be the same.

Just read that apart from nourishments, breast feeding can improve cognitive development for 17046 samples.
Those starting on this process (even us husbands) should get a good paeditrician and refer to documents such as the WHO, newman and others.

It's a wet day. While walking to work I asked Martha to hurry up as I'm late. She says " You mean you got no time for me ?" I answered....no just that mommy's cab is already here and the cab will run away if I'm late and I will not be able to go to work . She answered " It's ok, you don't need to go to work, you stay with me"

Martha is almost 3 years old now and she loves to act like princess. She knows how to tell a little bit of Cinderella story. I love to buy her dresses and dress her up as she looks very cute in them.She have a little brother now and she's very protective and loves her brother very much.
